It began with a spare room and an open door.

Firm Foundation House began years before it had a name — with a spare room, an open door, and the conviction that no one is beyond rebuilding. We help people break free from the strongholds that imprison them — whatever pattern, wound, or bondage keeps a life from standing.

We take no profit, and we take no shortcuts: just a home in Phelan, California, where men live in community, grow in their relationship with God, and learn to build their lives on the one foundation that holds. It takes a process. We walk it with them.

Mark lived with us before Firm Foundation House had a name. He’s telling his story on camera — where it started, what broke, and what got rebuilt.
